استغلت "جوجل" تواجدها في مؤتمر SXSW التقني بمدينة أوستن في ولاية تكساس الأمريكية، لتكشف عن بعض من التطبيقات التي يمكن استخدامها عبر نظارتها الذكية Google Glass.
وقال تيموثي جوردا في كوك وهو واحد من مهندسين جوجل العاملين في مشروع النظارة الذكية، أثناء استعراض النظارة في المؤتمر التقني أنها لا تعيق المستخدم عن ممارسة حياته الطبيعية أثناء ارتدائها حيث إنها لا تحجب الرؤية.
وأضاف المهندس جوردان أن التطبيق المشار له في النظارة تم تصميمه لتضمن عدم حجب الرؤية والقيام بمهامها بسهولة وسرعة، إضافة إلى تجاوبها مع الأوامر الصوتية للمستخدم أو حركة رأسه أو لمساته التي يقوم بها على لوحة التحكم المثبتة في جانب النظارة، وهي الطرق الثلاثة للتحكم في النظارة.
وتستعمل هذه اللوحه في التحكم و التنقل بين الامكان و الوجهات التي يرغب في الذهاب لها او التي هو فيها الان وتنفيذ حركات مثل العودة إلى الخلف والتقدم إلى الأمام والتبديل بين البطاقات المختلفة المشابهة لطريقة عمل بطاقات خدمة Google Now في نظام أندرويد.
وايضا اخرج جوردان اسماء البرامج و التطبيقات التي صنعت للنظارة وللاجل تطويرها بدعم من شركمه google ، مثل تطبيق Gmail الذي يمكن المستخدم من قراءة الرسائل الواردة الجديدة، ويمكن الرد عليها مباشرة بشكل صوتي، إضافة إلى تطبيق صحيفة "نيويورك تايمز" الإخبارية الذي يقوم بإرسال الأخبار العاجلة مباشرة إلى النظارة بشكل يتيح للمستخدم الاطلاع على عنوان الخبر وصورته، وفي حال اختار المستخدم معرفة التفاصيل، يقوم التطبيق بقراءة تفاصيل الخبر صوت و صورة يستطيع المستهلك العمل عبر النظارة على تطبيق نوت او المحلاحظات الموجود في نظام الاندرويرد Evernote وتطبيق Path الذي يعرض صور الأصدقاء ويتيح إمكانية ترك التعليقات عليها عبر الصوت.
إلى هذا، وأوضحت جوجل أن نظاراتها الذكية تدعم التركيب على النظارات الطبية دون أن تفقد أي من مميزاتها، حيث كشفت في تدوينة على جوجل بلس عن صورة لأحد العاملين في مشروع “Google Glass” وهو يرتدي النظارة فوق نظارته الطبية، وأشارت الشركة إلى أن النموذج التجريبي فقط لن يدعم تلك الميزة، لكن النموذج المنتظر طرحه في الأسواق سيدعم إضافة عدسات وإطار النظارات الطبية إلى نظاراتها.
وان كوكل كلاس او نظارات كوكل هي لحد الان تحت التطوير، حيث لم تطرح تجارياً بعد، ولكن تعمل الشركة الأمريكية حالياً على استعراض مميزاتها وإتاحتها بشكل محدود في الولايات المتحدة وبثمن 1500 دولار أمريكي.
ولقد تم فعلا طرح النظارة كوكل كلاس هذا الشهر، حسب تقارير إخبارية التي أوضحت كذلك أن ثمن النظارة سيكون مساوياً لثمن الهواتف الذكية التي تطرح حالياً في السوق.
